Let's talk about Christian Entertainment

Last week, our Founder Amanda and Gospel Radio Presenter, Cassie held an Instalive discussing all things christian entertainment. Here's a recap of the christian artists, music, movies and books that were shared!

Is there a place for Christian entertainment?

We believe there is a place for entertainment in our lives as Christians. As Christians, we can still relax, go on holiday, watch films, listen to music, have some fun, and enjoy the good gifts that God has given us, all whilst being mindful of what we consume.

Paul writes to Timothy, 

"Every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer" (1 Tim. 4:4, 5).

That passage warns against legalism and having overly strict views of the Christian life. It also tells us that we can use all things that God has made, keeping two things in mind: first, the Word of God instructs us how to use God's creatures and gifts, and secondly, by prayer, His gifts are sanctified unto us.
