What do you want woman?

For many of y’all it’s been the first week back. On Tuesday #BackToWork was trending on Twitter, and after a week of lie-ins, food overload and binging on Netflix I’m sure the struggle was real for everyone who headed back to work. If that was you, I salute you.I’ve seen the usual transition on social media from pictures of Christmas dinners, New Year Eve parties to countless images and guides on how to get your life on track this 2018, so don’t worry I’ll try to not be too repetitive and not mention the infamous #NewYearNewMe.

"Know what you want and go for it."

Such a cliche statement, but it's soo real. If you don’t know what you want you can end up just wandering through life aimlessly. That’s why setting goals, plans and expectations for the New Year is such a major key.Knowing what you want can actually be difficult, especially if you’re anything like me and love to overthink everything. I’ll be honest and admit I can be so indecisive, I second guess myself a lot and have this fear of making the wrong decision so much that it sometimes stops me from making any decision at all. Being in that scenario is the worst, because it means nothing changes. Last year, I learnt to put God at the center of all my decision making and it has taken a lot of pressure off me.

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Decisiveness is a sign of maturity. What are your goals this year? Whether it's to start a YouTube channel, blog, writing a book, dieting, reading. I'm encouraging you to know what you want and go for it!Make this year a great one.x
